To morten169, to tell you, he just began snowboarding, you probably started what, at 6-7?
You had many years more practice than he does, so instead of telling him he sucks more than you, which he was probably better than you when you first started, encourage him to try harder.

I am a snowboard instructor and I amazed that this guy stayed up with his instructor telling him to use his shoulder as his quide. There should be no upper body rotation only edge control.
