2. SIRO DHARA: PERSISTENT FLOW OF OIL ON THE HEAD: Sirodhara is one of the most popular ayurvedic therapies in India. The world 'Siro' meaning 'head' and 'Dhara' meaning continuous pouring of medicated liquid over the head. Siro Dhara is a treatment process in which medicated herbal oil is allowed to drip in a continuous stream over the patient's forehead for 30 minutes to one hour. It relaxes the nervous system, acts as a soothing balm for the brain and fights insomnia.
