@davidhalifax sorry sir, but i have to dissagree with you here. I have always loved american cars, but recently I test drove a few cars and trucks from toyota, and I have been converted from to domestic to impror. I find the quality is much better on there bigger cars. The yaris is a little cheaper, but its supposed to be to fit a budget. The only thing the americans still have is extreme affordabilty and the give you a lot of standards toyota doesnt.

The competition has surpassed Toyota and Toyota will struggle to gain back all the customers Toyota pissed off over the past few years with their recalls, poor quality and sub par customer service.

@screamolives not on the base model. i've been looking for cheap subcompacts and many of them don't come with that, unless you buy an upper trim model, which costs an extra 3000 dollars and is extremely hard to find a stick shift.

who gives a crap about ABS on the base model. i don't think they have power steering or AC either. i would start there.
