1970 Cougar Open - Mike McGrath vs. Dave Davis, Pt 1

The date was March 21, 1970 for the $75,000 Cougar Open at the Coliseum Lanes, Coral Gables, Fla. The top qualifier, Mike McGrath, who finished 2nd in this event last year, met Dave Davis for the championship. At stake was $10,000 to the winner, and a new Cougar automobile from Lincoln-Mercury.

And Sandy McGrath's hairdo has only slightly more volume than her husband's mutton chops.

Seem to recall Billy Welu died rather suddenly. Would have been within a few years of this broadcast.
