Anyone who has harvested with a grain or flex header has seen crop hesitate in front of the auger, resulting in slugging, reel carry-over, and slower harvest speeds. This gap between the reel and the auger has frustrated operators and manufacturers since the introduction of the reel. HCC, inc. has finally closed the gap with a reel design that positively places crop into the auger, providing true continuous crop flow. Introducing the Orbit Reel: the first reel design to bring the tines right up to the auger.
