This is pretty common. We don't have deice on the spinner because its not necessary. The prop itself is either heated or a slinger is used to spray deicing fluid during flight. However, this doesn't affect the spinner.

yes it is, this was taken in DTW a bit north, the tupulo ones are out of the memphis system
