In just over a year, 3 of my daughters were stricken with incurable life threatening medical conditions, a grandson died, both of us parents became disabled, and I lost my business.

  • I respect your opinion but please get the facts straight.

    1. What do stepchildren's health have to do with my genes?

    2. Cerebral palsy is caused by a brain injury, not bad genes. If a drunk driver hit you and caused a brain injury would it be your parents fault?

    3. Children are not things.

    4. Normal is the standard by which life is worth living? How about a mother with 6 handicapped kids due to her STD. Would you advise her to abort the next child? If so you would have killed Mozart.

  • Your family reminds me of my family, my son was born 2 months early and did better then we ever thought. Then my daughter was born with CHARGE Syndrome and had to have many surgeries and is deaf/blind as well. Last year we learned I have cancer and my son has Crohns Disease. I have wonders what God is thinking sometimes but learned so much watching my kids go through so much and I think they have helped me through all my cancer stuff and be a stronger person!! God Bless you all!!

  • What beautiful daughters you have been blessed with! May God continue to bless you and your family!

  • I feel so sorry for you..But..I'm only 13, Congratulations on your Children..And hope they make a happy life with great parents. :)

  • dear sir, i am 20 year old man with cerebral palsy. Watching this video reminds me of my own struggles. At the same time it shows me that there is light at the end of the tunnel

  • @fatherof9daughters

Im very proud of both my twin daughters. Ashton is autistic, Madison is autistic and has cerebral palsy. Please check out my videos.. .they are now 9 yrs of age, both love to sing, especially Ashton who dreams of making it her career. Keep at it, lets show the world that disabled children are not no hopers! much love x

  • this story brought tears to my eyes my son is 2 years old and has cerebral palsy he cant walk talk sit up or crawl......i pray everyday but i am so happy your girls are doing good i know thats the best feeling in the world.....i just want to say thankyou because you have gave me the motivation never to give up even when all the tears have drained out my eyes!

  • On the bright side, your wife lost 100 pounds! :D

  • Like, what pathos! What abject misery! What deliverance through it all! If ever there was a story just begging to be made into a Lifetime (or similar channel) movie, this is it. Way to go, babes!

  • @fatherof9daughters I just want to say that genetics cannot be ruled out of the CP equation...at least this is what I am finding out from my experiences with my 3 year old who has CP.
