In this clip, Save the Children volunteers help make papier mache figures out of 7,000 messages of support to end child poverty. The figures represent the 1 in 3 children who live in poverty in the UK. The Labour Government made a promise to halve end child poverty by 2010 and unless they invest at least £3 billion in the 2009 Budget this target will be missed.
