Whether you like Sid or not AS A PLAYER, you can't deny that this is a high-class act. Good for Sid!
-
This guy is pure class.

Aww the IWK, spent many hours at that place. Too bad Sidney waited until I was referred to the adults hospital to win the Stanley cup.
-
We love you Sidney , very kind to take some time and be with them :0)

@mapleavenue77 he did!!!! :D

@ThePens87 Because people are pissed that he doesn't play on their team. That he hasn't led their guys to a Stanley Cup. That he hasn't made all the players on their team better. It's jealousy, pure and simple.

And this is why I don't understand everyone's hatred of him. He's such a genuinely great guy apart from being a phenomenal player. I consider myself lucky that here in Pittsburgh we're exposed to this side of him because he is just such a great person.

It just worked out for Sidney and I'm so pleased it did. He was drafted by the Pens -- where he had one of the greatest and classiest players every to play to be his mentor -- but he was also gifted with a great upbringing from a great community. He's very lucky but he also uses his many gifts to the fullest.
You got Stanley silver in 2009, Sid. Now bring home gold in 2010!!!
