I got a newer version of this laptop for $500. Same exact looks and such. I got a 2011 model.

I got this laptop, I had no problems until now since i have installed windows 7. this laptops heats up way to fast now.. even just browsing the internet it heats and if i play games like mw2 i could probally cook few eggs on my laptop. Need a solution
Had bought a new cooling pad last month which already got spoilt because of the extreme heat generating.

i got the same laptop, and it wasnt holding charge so i bought a new battery, and it only stays charged for about 15 mins,
i have windows 7 on it,
Maybe the settings are too high could somone help me out

That is also one of the drawbacks of this gaming computer it doesn't have a illuminated keyboard, but hey it is a great deal for being only $1000 dollars. considering the graphics card it has.

if you just bought this computer recently then it should have a free upgrade to windows 7. Although if you bought it refurbished you probably don't have a free upgrade. Windows 7 is excellent I have gained a few extra frames with windows 7. Vista sucks they really improved with Windows 7. What store or online website did you buy this computer from? If you got the free upgrade I can give a link to get it.
