Britain is dead? Eep, I didn't get that memo. Perhaps it's time to move..
Is there that much difference between Irish and British humour? My mum is Irish and my dad is English but they find the same things funny. Black Books is very much a melting pot of ideas from the interviews I've read - that's what makes it so great.

agreed!

How about...Ireland is better than Britain, Britain is dead, Britain is pathetic.

how is it from northern ireland??
graham linehan is from clonmel and dylan moran is from navan
both in the republic of ireland
just because it has british people in it and was filmed in britian doesnt make it british, its based on irish humor, and written by irishmen, its like saying allo allo is french because arthur bostroms in it.

Im seen them in interview, there from the South you can tell from the accents. Therefore it is an Irish comedy.
