Big Sausage Roll at Buttonwillow 24 Hours of Lemons

Buttonwillow Histrionics - 24 Hours of Lemons: As Big Sausage and V8olvo battle it out for first place after 18 hours of driving on the last lap, Big Sausage's red Acura takes the "Lost Hill" corner, on the final 1/4 lap a bit too fast and flips. Team Lightning McQueen (driver: Baja Trish) was in the right place to barely catch it on our roof cam. Luckily the Big Sausage driver was unscathed physically, but I'm sure he's mentally and emotionally scarred for life.
Pay attention to the "Lost Hill" in the top left, just above the blue BMW at around 0:35 to see the roll in the distance. Then stay tuned as we drive past the "CARnage".

@niocholai7 It's huge fun to beat the faster cars. They pass all day, then break, wreck, get penalties, make extra stops for fuel etc while the slow cars just keep putzing around turning laps. Seeing your slow team's name above the faster guys on the final standings never stops being funny. :)

Congrats on finishing in the top half. Sounds like "slow and steady" was a good stragegy for this event. Still, it can't be much fun to get passed by so many cars...until they wreck in front of you!

@evoatcha Thats not me driving in the vid, but yes, we did in fact get passed a lot. This was in a race called 24 Hours of Lemons, which is an endurance race for $500 cars. As you can imagine the race is filled with 1st time noobs (like us on this one) and cars that are crapping out. I believe at this point our tranny was near dead and we were trying to conserve it. Because of our conservative driving, we were in the top half, and in the group of cars that actually finished the race :)

Its a random song I found on Youtube's "Audioswap" feature--the lyrics seemed rather fitting. It is "Eyes on the Road" by The Somnambulants
