Economics is usually over complicated..... Take Keynes or Adam Smith. Many have tried to come up with this ideal system and it seems the world economic model is failing more and more each year. In life you get three kinds of people. Those who fight for wealth and power, those who fight for humanity and those who give a shit about neither. One thing is clear that what ever system we have, it is mental torture for those struggling on the wrong side of it. 3.4 billion people in the world starving!!

@RainstormGB Quite the opposite, he is outlining how simple YOU are. Money is not just a piece of paper, it represents an amount of the UK treasury. The amount of paper money in existence represents the value of the gold reserve. Did you not think to learn basic economics before ranting about such complete nonsense?

Hahaha! You're very much like 99% of people out there (including our governments), you're an economic idiot. You talk about creating money but what you don't understand that creating money is not the same as creating wealth. Money is neutral. It's not becuase you create money that you can fund schools (to use your example). You need wealth to fund schools. All you're doing is create an ILLUSION of wealth ie an increase in nominal weath which is offset by inflation.
