Reminds me of Spongebob, not gunna lie!

oh, nvm. You can play natural harmonics by using two fingers of your right hand of course. Haven't done it before, so it didn't occur to me.

I know how to play harmonics. Done it a million times. But natural harmonics WITH A SLIDE I don't get.

@daddystovepipe Ok, sir, thank you, I asked that I'm trying since morning to pull of a similar playing on my guitar in roundneck style, and it doesn't sound quite the same so I thought you could be using high bass open G...
regards.

I've recently started watching some Hawaiian slide videos. I see a lot of them, including this one, playing natural harmonics with a slide. How on earth do you do that? Doesn't make sense to me.

This open G as you call it, is DGDGBD, or GBDGBD?

@caralhosvosfodam
Hawaiian music and blues is usually played in low bass open G (DGDGBD)
High bass open G (GBDGBD) is strictly for bluegrass.

Aloha Daddy, great style and feeling, who makes this weissenborn?

thanks for the compliment Bob. The weiss was made by Tony Francis of New Zealand info at tonyfrancisinstruments dot com
he specialises in making exact Weissenborn copies; this one is a blackwood style 4.
