  • @MISCrazyaboutvideos oh, i get it now!! thx for telling me about it!!

  • @Pokestar9 Homework, chores, and my younger siblings just to name a few of them as well as being on other sites that I enjoy besides YouTube.

  • @MISCrazyaboutvideos like what?

  • @Pokestar9 I believe the last car was the only one on the stopped train that was damaged; you'd have to search for more details for yourself not because I don't want to look for it but because I'm too lazy as well as busy with other real life things.

  • @MISCrazyaboutvideos oh! so what happened to the other train?

  • @Borat2borat They aren't garbage, if Metro has only ordered the cars with anticlimbers or even retro-fitted the cars, that accident would've went a totally different route, as would the Woodley Park Zoo accident.

Every other transit operation ordering cars when these cars were ordered were built with Anticlimbers, HELL, New York has had anticlimbers built onto their cars since the 60s.

  • @Pokestar9 Very true; the train operator had pulled the brakes despite the train being in automatic mode hence preventing anymore casualties.

  • @MISCrazyaboutvideos well that doesn't sound as terrible as i thought it was!!

  • @Pokestar9 It happened on the Red line between two stations; one train operator and 8 passengers died and approximately 80 people were injured. I do remember hearing about it when watching the news; it's a very sad story especially since every time I've ridden the DC Metro with my family, I felt safe and never imagined something like that happening.
