LOL@us! Well spring is coming. It was just luck that we bought a Jane. None of our neighbours are having much luck with theirs. From you vids I know that you have an extremely green thumb, so it must be the tree's fault. ;-) Ungrateful tree.

Delighted you popped in! =)
It's a 'Jane' magnolia that was developed to bloom in late Spring after the danger of frost has passed. It is also hardy to zone 3. Jane will also continue to bloom lightly in the summer. Ours is over 20 years old and has probably done better than most because of the fence. Hard to find, but flourishes where others won't.

How does your magnolia survive ? In that cold.
Lovely indeed. I am sending you "my" winter as a video com. My spring is not quite ready yet, but it won't be as bucolic I'm afraid!

You are most generous in your video response. Thank you. It was one of several I watched before subscribing to you. A most interesting and wonderful interpretation of Vivaldi's winter. An absolute pleasure to watch. I'm really looking forward to spring! ;)
