@smartysporty333 I don't think it's that hard to learn. It depends on how dedicated you are.

However, my case was different. I lived in France as a child and was dumped in a school where no one spoke any English at all. Within six months, I was speaking it and after a year I spoke it fluently.

@smartysporty333 The only way to speak and understand (perfectly) french language is a deep immersion in a country where french is spoken. There are some english people in my village and they said to me that they needed 10 years to be fluent with the french language and there are still lot of jokes or wordgames they don't understand ! So... good luck !
