@MrOttopants Kinda late but thanks for replying, I will definitely check it out later tonight. Been busy lately because of a death in the family. Thanks again good sir.

I like most of all his promotion of the idea...nay fact...that "we are nothing"
Nothing ...and yet, all gods.
Namaste, Christopher Hitchens.
RIP.

"Freethought loses a giant."
Obviously you've never seen his speaker's fee.

I was an atheist way before I heard of him but if I heard that speech 10 years ago; it would have speed up the process

Alright everyone, we have 5 billion years to science the f--k up. Some may think that's plenty of time, well, it is, but the thing is, I find it idiotic that some think that means we could just procrastinate. While we do have 5 billion years to do so, there are many other goals to reach besides just gtfo of this galaxy.

@mestrini Well said ...

Hitchens was a stoic, as am I, and so was my father. People often take this as a sign of being "stuck up", or comment "you don't smile much." I would say that when I laugh, it is because I genuinlly find something funny, it's not to please others. And, I'm not stuck up, maybe you just bore me.

A beautiful tribute. Let's honor his life by continuing the struggle.
