They didn't go for "Revolution" because it was a long word. Wii is quick, easy, always pronounced the same way in any language and Wii means lots of things!

Im mad at my 360 because I got the Three Red Lights of DEATH on my box yesterday. I'm kinda happy though cause I get to get an ELITE 360. (But I will be out $450)

Careful with that Elite, Microsoft doesn't give you the extended warranty with those. Meaning that if you get the 3RLOD, you won't be able to send it in for repair for free, you'll have to pay $125.
