Global warming could do more than just melt polar ice. It could change our maps, and displace people from cities and tropical islands.

WE humans can destroy ourselves and our habitats, but we cannot destroy the entire earth and all the life forms on it. we're way weaker than we think we are. we perceive things around us as if we're responsible for everything that happens on earth and we're in full control of everything, because we humans are self-centered (narcissistic), but in reality we're controlled by earth, not the other way around. all we humans will be extinct naturally and make way for new species and without any trace.

During the industrial revolution, the oceans and forests have not yet absorbed the vast amounts of CO2 humans made, so there was room. Now that these natural storage places are overflowing and being affected by increase concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere, that is also causing excess CO2 to be released. Something can be in a small amount to have a large affect. You can't say that raising the CO2 level by over 150ppm will have no affect.

That is far beyond the truth, those 2 people are not any scientists I would want to even call scientists. Do you really think they would build solar farms and use home solar panels knowing that? Sometimes you just have to think some stuff through.

97% of scientists believe there is climate change and it's caused mostly by humans. The other 3% are bought and paid for by big oil.
If nine out of ten doctors told you you had cancer, would you ignore them? If you did, you'd be dead.

"you can get radiation from a lot of surprising sources---like ...---radaiation is all around us"
The biggest source of NATURAL radiation that we must be aware of is radon (occurring naturally as the decay product of uranium or thorium)
BUT - and this is important ...
The amount of radiation in the US and Canada is continuing to rise DAILY as a result of the ongoing radioactive releases from the total meltdowns of the 3 reactors in Japan

that book, which i misplaced, has got to be at least 20-25 years old, so maybe the first Solar powered homes weren't perfected yet. i do know that it said that there was a Solar powered home in Maine that was very high in Radiation. Also, you can get radiation from a lot of surprising sources---like walking across a busy highway, even eating a Charcoal broiled hamburher or steak---radaiation is all around us, we just need to have a healthy respect for it.

That would be Sandy Shaw and Durk Pearson authors of several books on "life extension" via nutrition
No, you do NOT receive ANY additional radiation via solar power. It's just collecting sunlight a lot like the way plants do it.
It's the cleanest form of energy EVER

I don't think there should be ANY solar powered homes. I read once, of course the book is at least 20 years od, and it may have been fixed so its not so much ba problem----I read that there was a solar powered home in Maine, that was so high in Radiation, I think it said that living there was like having 50 Chest X-Rays a day. The book was by 2 scientists, I believe there names were Sandy Shaw and a man named Pearson. So, I wouldn't want a solar powered home
