** Master Woo has earned teaching degree in Taekwondo (as a Major) from Yong-In University in Korea. Master Woo is 6th degree certified international master instructor from World Taekwondo Federation and has been teaching Taekwondo for 19years in the state. In addition, he has earned multiple teaching degrees including physical education teacher's license from the Ministry of Education in Korea and yoga teacher's license from Yong-In University. He has been involved in Taekwondo for more than 30 consecutive years.

Kyoruki (Sparring) : Sparring is the practical application of various forms against an actual opponent. In this type of competition speed, skilled technique, precision and confidence are the deciding factors. Through sparring, students improve their reflexes, focus and understanding of how to apply each technique.

  • I think a Yop Chagi is better in this situation. Or step out and counter whit dolyo chagi. Or stay and give a twit chagi, or mon dolyo.

  • @taekwonge the problem with back kick is that on today's systems (Lajust, Daedo, etc.) it is notoriously difficult to properly score with it, whereas the tornado/butterfly/nadoban/what­ever you wanna call it has a much higher scoring percentage, making it more reliable in the ring.

  • when you are that far away from your opponent and he rushes in like that, you can't see what's coming, can you? he could come with a skipping axe kick, a skipping front or side kick, or just some feinting footwork followed by a spin hook kick and stuff like that.. the point is you can hit that move on your sparring partner because you know his moves, but in competiton you'll maybe get ktfo..
