Texas S&L owner Jerry D. Stiles, who has been convicted of bank fraud in the S&L scandals, advanced $117,000 interest free for a construction crew that came from Texas to Maryland to build Gramm a vacation home. About the same time, Gramm ushered through a bill that allowed sick Texas S&L's (such as the ones Stiles owned) to stay open. He later urged regulators to give Stiles waivers -- even after they found irregularities that led to Stiles' conviction

UncleRico, Gramm sure doesn't talk like an elitist, but more reassembles an uneducated fool. It proves that a doctor degree cannot disguise lack of class or backbone as he comes across as a feminine man. That is why I laugh at his comments - whiners. As he looks and sounds like a professional victim that has spent his life shining shoes to get ahead.

McCain has so many questionable ties to lobbyist and "fund raisers." That the "liberal media bias" is obviously a complete fraud! Otherwise, there would be a multi part mini series on all of the times McCain has been caught with his hand in the cookies jar like the: Rothchild scandal, Gramm (S&L, Enron, Energy crisis, CA Blackouts, Mortgage crisis), FCC violation (Paxson Communications), (more below)
