Umm im gonna retract my previous statement about indians playing asian characters I realise that indians are considered asians i do apologise it's just that here in NZ indians and asians are 2 very diffferent cultures what i meant was that my mental picture was that of Chinese actors however im glad that these characters aren't being played by caucasian actors like the guy who played Goku in the Dragonball Z movie now that sucked

If you ask me you didnt say anything bad.Avatar The Last Airbender is supposed to be portrayed by either Chinese or Japanese kind of Asians or at least the different kinds of Asians like people from Laos and Combodia not to mention Inuits should be playing the Water Tribes.I hate it when they cast just anyone thinking no one will notice.

Im not saying that I Don't like indians and Maoris but come on!!!! when one hears Names like Ozai, Iroh, Zhao or suki you immediately think asian instead u got a Maori playing Ozai, a skinny middle eastern playing Iroh and an indian playing Zhou and Zuko, now that is one fucked up kingdom oh well beggers can't be choosers u get what u got

People it's quite obvious that the show is about asian stuff!! Look at Lord of the Rings!!! There were no Black good guys, or asian good guys. Did Asians and Black people complain? NO! Cos it was obviously a spin on Norse Mythology! Can you imagine an asian guy fighting together with Elves? If the director what's his face wanted white people he could cast them as the bad guys!!

Ok Indians could be, but there should be no black or white guys in there!!
