  • We didn't record this song because we thought we were "better" singers than The Heptones....we did it out of respect for the genre that gave us so much pleasure. Thanks for your comment and listening to it.

  • you can see the joy on Ron's face at the opportunity to Re-unite and play with the guys again. Ron Rhoades is very giving of what he has learned from being a lifetime student of music. He taught me how to craft songs, and recorded and produced the lions share of my musical output in my career. As a youth , I was always humbled by his patience and pride at helping someone who was willing to learn the craft of making music. Me, Teomon, Alika, and eveyone he has produced are lucky so and so's

  • @moneymont92 I"ve had the Pleasure of working with Ron Rhoades and his abilities as a vocalist and harmonies arranger is still outstanding and superior.

In fact if "Reggae Enthusiasts" are willing to do a little research...they would learn that Ron and the Shakers were instrumental in exposing Reggae music to the Greater San Francisco and East Bay area...facilitating directly and indirectly for Jamaican Reggae artist to set roots in Northern California and get their own bands working.

  • This is a nice cover to the Heptones and I give this group big ups for showing love to real Reggae! But the vocals compared to the Heps makes one realize just how incredible singers the Heps really are!
