Los Angeles protests over Proposition 8's apparent passage by razor thin margins continue to gain momentum as thousands take to the streets to protest Prop 8 and the Mormon Church's involvement in funneling millions of dollars of out of state funds to support the anti-civil-rights measure.
Things that happened to quickly to film for this:
In order to film this, I was roughed up by 5 Tongan Mormon church thugs before I could reach the protest sight. Police did nothing but watch. Also, a pickup truck of skinhead-looking counter-protesters sped through intersection in front of the mormon temple aiming for two other protesters and another protester threw a glass bottle at the truck in defense to deter them. A lot more happened here than what the news covered. The attitude of people protesting ranges from sad disappointment to rage.... This could get uglier very quickly.
Straight, but will not get married. Dumb ritual, should go away along with the god delusion.

and the ones who are a bunch of tools are the people protesting a decision that was made by the people of California. And you look like sore losers.

Uh, is this comment directed at me? You got the right person? What the hell are you talking about?
Apparently every vote counted in this case, because two men or two women still can't marry in California.
So much anger scot-man-able!

We don't live in a democracy we live in a republic. A democracy each and every vote counts. Please get your facts straight. Learn what type of Government we live in and that is when you might start getting respected. Otherwise you democracy fanatics look like a bunch of tools.

There is a bigger issue here. The state of California, its citizens, voted on the issue to allow to men to marry men and women to marry women. The citizens said no dice. Now the California Supreme Court is going to rule on this? On something the people of the state already voted for during a national election? What about in future elections on other issues? Its basically saying, "yes, you voted on the issue, but the Supreme Court gets final say." Thats not democracy people.
