Set in the midwest - this show was created on a very low budget with only 1 camera and 1 light. The show aired it's 6 pilot episodes on KTKA Channel 49 (ABC Affiliate Station) on Feb.1st, 2009 for the northeast Kansas viewing audiences. Meet Sophie & Chloe - two sister's who grew up their whole lives living in exoctic places around the world. Their dad a US Naval Officer volunteers to fight in the war in IRAQ. The girls currently live with their dad in beautiful Hawaii. Since their parents divorced when the girls were toddlers, both Sophie & Chloe always lived with their dad having very limited contact with their mom over the years.
Now needing a place to stay while their dad is overseas; the girls estranged mom comes to the rescue so to speak. Will Chloe & Sophie be able to get through this new experience without going crazy and will they find out that life in the midwest isn't so simple after all? The girls will meet new friends, new loves and new enemies.

BROKEN ROAD captures the heart of the teen-life in the midwest and inspired from the real-life experiences of the show's 17 year old writer & creator.
