I remember this. God, the good old days. I miss being a kid.

I can't say "Fraturday" seriously; it almost sounds like it's in reference to fraternity clubs rather than combining Friday and Saturday.

Kids' WB had the power and creativity to extend everyone's weekend. I still wish Kids' WB was on TV again. With all the good shows they had in the 90s!! Too bad 4Kids had to ruin the block just because they lost the dubbing rights to Pokemon. So retarded. *double facepalm*

"Fraturday starting friday september 8th" lol
-
so does that mean you could argue that you were going to school on a fraturday and should be sent home due to it being a weekend? lol

@FroggoFan64 Fraternity "clubs"?! Lolz, you must be a freakin' geed!

I remember there was this one ad that had various "Friday/Saturday" portmanteaus, one I remember being "Friaturd-day"

I referred to Friday as Fraturday for a while. I loved the concept, but I was an apathetic and gullible ten-year-old at the time.
This campaign won a couple big international awards for "Best Daypart Promotion." Yes, that Jim Cummings aka Winnie the Pooh, et al. He listened to the scratch and did it in one take, as usual. Such a gifted guy. The Friday/Saturday strategy didn't work, but it was worth a try. Pokemon had been a big success, we'd become #1 (from 4th or 5th) and we thought- maybe we can do it TWICE week. Drunk with power! heh. Ship graphics by either Brian Oliver or Clayton Glenn, can't remember.
