met both of them on seperate occasions. syl is a great guy and we chatted for quite a long time. johansen is a totaly differant person, kinda jekyll + hyde. met JT in Revere Ma when he was doing demos with jimmy miller and they were both a ton of fun to get high with but a total mess at the time. i'm pretty sure it was in '82

David has always struck me as a very smart and intelligent chap, belies his image as a hardcore rocker, Sylvain is always laid back, knowledgeable and soft spoken. They seem like really nice people, has anyone met them?
