One of the most epic moments of the night. Sugizo with the lights dimmed upon his dark outfit plays a violin solo prelude to Kurenai. Such a close shot, I even captured the smoke emitted from the rosin on the bow rubbing off the strings of the violin. Yoshiki-sama then joins in on piano and forms a duet, in his white outfit, lights shining on his back like an angel.

Yes, it was live, I'm sure of it too. That "resin powder" is called rosin. He even broke a hair on his bow ... And every move tells it's not playback. Moreover, Sugizo began playing violin at 3 y/o, I believe he doesn't need playback ^_^ ! Yoshiki and Sugizo are both great musicians, and together in this duet they're incredible <3 I agree that people should be quiet when listening to something that beautiful - at least they don't really have to scream that loud until it rocks...
