முதல்வர் கருணாநிதி எழுதிய 'போர்வாளும், பூவிதழும்' நாட்டிய நாடகத்தை பத்மா சுப்பிரமணியம் குழுவினர், சென்னை மியூசிக் அகடமியில் 13 சூலை 2010 அன்று நடத்தினர். ஆழ்வார் ஆய்வு மையம் சார்பில் நடந்த இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில், மாண்புமிகு தமிழக முதல்வர் திரு மு.கருணாநிதி அவர்களும் , ஸ்ரீவைஷ்ணவ உபன்யாசகர் "சொல்லின் செல்வர்" "பாலவாகம்ருதவர்ஷீ" திரு.வேளுக்குடி கிருஷ்ணன் அவர்களும் பங்கேற்றனர். அவ்விழாவில் பலரது பாராட்டினைப் பெற்ற திரு.வேளுக்குடி கிருஷ்ணனின் "ஆழ்வார்கள் தமிழ்" உரை இங்கே !

A gist of our Hon'ble CM's felicitation speech on velukkudi swAmi's urai :

"வேளுக்குடி கிருஷ்ணனும், திருச்சி கல்யாணராமனும் எனக்குப் புதியவர்கள். இந்த மேடையிலேதான் அவர்களுடைய அறிமுகம் - அவர்களுடைய பேச்சைக் கேட்கின்ற வாய்ப்பு - இவையெல்லாம் ஜெகத்ரட்சகனால் உருவாக்கித் தரப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

"இதற்கு முன்பு இந்த உரைகளைக் கேட்கவில்லையே!'' என்ற ஆதங்கம்தான், அவர்களுடைய உரைகளைக் கேட்டபிறகு எனக்கு ஏற்பட்டது என்று சொன்னால், அது மிகையாகாது. வேளுக்குடி கிருஷ்ணன் மிகுந்த தமிழ் ஆர்வத்தோடு, தமிழ் இனிமை சொட்டச் சொட்ட, இங்கே தன்னுடைய உரையை நிகழ்த்தியிருக்கின்றார். இந்த மேடையிலே எவ்வளவு கட்டுப்பாட்டோடு பேச வேண்டுமோ அவ்வளவு பேசி, எங்களையெல்லாம் மகிழ்வித்திருக்கின்றார்."

If you read my comments carefully my comment was to the remark that Tamil is a greater language than Samskrit, while they are equally great . It has nothing to with Prabhandham being called Tamil Vedam

Dear friend,

It has nothing to do with the company. Divya Prabhandam has indeed been claimed as Tamizh Marai, in all the Sri Vaishnava Purvacharyas work and has been strongly supported by various pramanas. Vedam is the eternal wisdom which could be revealed in any language as appropriate based on the place and time. Please read Acharya Hrudayam and Sri Vachana Bhushanam when you find time to understand the greatness of Tamizh that was brought out only by the Azhwars.
