The Los Angeles Unified School District may be eliminating its arts programs, due to budget cuts, within the next two years, which could mean that all their efforts in providing arts education programs in elementary schools could come to an end. If that happens, the arts may not return again for another generation (if at all). Hopefully, this event will raise more public awareness on how critical the arts are to a well-rounded education.
