  • i have the ecp4500 crt projector. I run hdfury for hdmi via ps3. These crt's produce fantastic image with absolute black, 15000:1 minimum contrast, 725 approx lumens, no pixelation aka film like image, little to no noise, best colour.

its your own set of traffic lights. Takes alot of work to tune/align but produces an image thats hard to beat all round. The brightness is good but not as good as digital.

I have videos but there big to upload. i show uncharted 3 and killzone 2.

  • Monster machine!!!!!!

  • @djo9c1 That's good, I'm considering buying one.

  • @TVperson1 No, that's one big plus of CRT projectors. But if you're playing low resolution stuff (analog cable, VHS, old video games, etc.) you might be able to see scan lines. Those are horizontal only, and a good video processor or video scaler can get rid of them.

  • What a beast. Does it have that fly screen effect like LCD projectors?

  • @2BunnyReturns Not sure of the exact dimensions, but the picture tubes are each 7" diagonal, and the entire unit would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 24"x24"x16".

  • @djo9c1

What kind of dimensions does the projector have?

  • @2BunnyReturns Oh, no, I thought you were talking pounds as in the British currency unit! A model like this one with 7" tubes would weigh about 100 pounds, maybe a bit less.

  • @djo9c1

What? They get heavier with age? What you say?
