  • Hey Brian ! Great video as always. I've appreciated your work for the past few years. Our company is based out of Chicago (ALISTDJS.com) Anytime we get a request to go into Wisconsin we send them your way. My way of saying thanks for the tips through out the years. Great work!

  • Thanks brian i just found out I can do this with my qtx sound QRC 12" active speakers.

  • Secondly, my workhorse speakers are QSC k12's the have fly points on the two front corners. any thoughts?

  • What about vibrations being transmitted to your fixtures? Any problems with shaking your lights apart? Seems like it could/would severely shorten the life expectancy.

  • what would be cool, put the 2 speakers on the T-Bar, 1 left and 1 right, get a stand that will hold the weight, and let the speakers fly :p let's see if that works :p

  • Almost all speakers have the same fly mount. They should all use an M10 (metric10) bolt. If you find a hardware store that sells metric bolts you can buy shorter lengths and then you don't need large spacers. I actually took one of my Berhringers into the store to make sure the threads were the same.

  • will you ever have mobility in your right arm again!! your doing amazing even with all the crap you have to go through your my idle!!

  • hey brian! I have some basic dap 12inch speakers but they got also holes on the top so you can fligh them. I used them before to mount a laser on the speaker and it is great. But the biggest problem is to find a truss-holder. Maybey you can help?

  • can you do this with the Mackie TH-15 A's Thumps like as in do they have the holes

  • hey brian, i think your idea's are great! I just wanted to point out that you don't need rcf speakers to do this. I have some old basic 12 inch speakers (dap ps-112) only 240Wrms. And there perfect for small party's. But anyway you can mount everything on top off it because it had 2 m10 flight points. I payed 149euros (200dollars)
