  • That would be in the 1970's.

  • Correct. Add that to your book!

  • It was Lee Leonard, who hosted other programs over the years

  • And Lee Leonard was a good friend of mine and my senior head couldn't pull his name together. Last I knew he had a cable show in New Jersey that was very popular. Thanks John.

  • by your "logic" gayweather > sugar ray robinson cuz even sugar had 19 losses in his 200 bouts.

    gtfo with that shit.

anyone can compile an unbeaten record dodging top comp, doesn't mean shit.

at 1 point duran was 73-1 & many of his losses came after he passed his prime & didn't know when to stop.

he would have put a beating on that moron gayweather & shut up his big mouth.

duran is the best LW of all time with an 87% win record & voted # 5 best boxer of last 80 years by ring.

  • durans the greatest lightweight of all time.

  • @bigdatut Yeh, top 5 for me..

  • Duran is definitely not at his best in this fight. Even though, he still controls it with ease.Sounds like Dr. Ferdie Pacheco doing the commentating.

  • @LOVEMPIRE666 Your talking utter utter rubbish! Just cos the pacman is so current flavour and is bloody good, hes no Roberto Duran!

  • Great body puncher! This is the secret of all latino fighters, notably Julio Caeser Chavez.

  • A guy I know sparred with Duran when he was way past his prime. He said even though he was fat and old, Roberto knew exactly what he was going to do before he even tried to do it, and he countered him non stop. It was amazing. And he said when he was younger Duran was an absolute force of nature. He was unbelievable. Definitely an all time great.

  • "Susuki is on queer st. now"

  • Duran would beat the shit out of Mayweather and Pacman in the same night. That's how tough he was.

  • Ooo that right hand really hurt he hurt em with that right hand hahaha

  • Floyd would never have the class and skills of Duran. It's an insult to even put these two fighters in the same category.
