Honduras, Olancho, Rio Babilonia

I made a lot of trips to the jungles of Sierra de Agalta National Park in Olancho, (eastern Honduras) looking for waterfalls adn i found several, Rio Babilonia is one of them, this trips were made between the years 2001 and 2005, unfortunately the Babilonia Waterfalls do not exist any more, they were destroyed by a Hidroelectrical project that not only destroyed the waterfalls but also five miles of river were destroyed in order to produce less than two mega watts of electricity; Only people from a close community complained and one of them was killed in his house but the murder was never investigated
