Kawai EX Grand by Lance Herring and Acousticsamples!

Here is the demonstration video of my long-awaited Kawai EX Grand for Kontakt and Gigastudio! Jonathan Story is playing at the beginning and end, and he certainly does a fine job at showing off a bit of what this library is capable of. This sampled piano is for Kontakt and Gigastudio sampler software--other versions will follow (only Kontakt supports the advanced features). Go to acousticsamples.net for more information. will this work in the V-Machine by SM Pro Audio?

@ThatsABiggon I'm not that familiar with the V-Machine, but as long as you can load the full version of the Kontakt 4 application, then yes the Kawai will work. You can try the free Kontakt player, but it runs in demo mode for 3rd party libraries (goes silent after 30 minutes I believe). Let me know what you find out!

One of the best sounding samples I've ever heard. Superb job! I've got a Kawai MP10 on order, so I'd be curious to see how this sounds compared to Kawai's very own sampling of the Kawai EX. Great job guys!

Hi, i have listened to your video a number of times and do love the sounds you produce here of the kawai ex grand. I would be obliged if you could tell me if it is possible to incorporate your sample int my kawai ca111? If so what would i require. I have to admit here that i am an electronic numpty, sorry !

@marg32 Since this Kawai sample library requires Kontakt software, you'll need to hook your CA 111 to a computer running the software. If you get our library, I'd be curious to how its sound compares in your opinion to your CA 111. Let me know your findings!

no offense, but that stand is REALLY horrible!! Wobbles WAY too much then it should, which is rarely. you should get a better stand thats better structured.
