1 n a half is far enough..but actual ingestion of breastmilk is ok til i'd say about 5 or 6...u can still give ur child the nourishment of ur milk without putting them on ur breast

I'd say 2 is too old. You want the kid to become more independent and mature. Breastfeeding at 6 kind of tightens the umbilical chord.

I really doubt any young man (who should start dating at like 16) would assume they can breast feed on a date.
