I remember seeing this advert on a PS1 demo a long time ago. I watched it over and over, I fell in love instantly. I waited for it release, and when I got it for my birthday I cried, lol. This game brings fond memories back. Is and forever will be my favorite game ever

@SpaseGoast So you like FF7 better, so what? He enjoys FF9 (even though he should have made it a more subjective opinion instead of stating it as a fact), let him do so. I replayed both of them on my psp this summer, and I have to say that I enjoyed both of them a lot. I have always loved FF7, and not cared much for FF9, but after retrying it with a more mature mind, I can see what a great masterpiece 9 really is. My opinion has mostly changed, and I like FF9 better now. Thats my opinion ^_^

@MrRed424 I remember the company name changed around after Finaly Fantasy 9. Hoesntly I think all Square Soft games have better stories and songs then Square Enix.

@MrRed424 After 9. The whole team changed, with the lead director leaving. Hence why the Final Fantasies after 9, so 10 onwards, are nothing compared to 1 - 9. I don't even count them as being Final Fantasies.

I finished this game a few days ago. While FFVI still remains my favorite (I plan to play VIII next) I still think this is a really good game that made me really connect with the characters.

I first saw this trailer on a demo I got with a PlayStation magazine for about 11 years ago, and it completely changed my life!

This game had style to it.. It saved the series quite a bit. The music matched the characters, you even got a feel for their emotions in the game.. What ever happened to games like this? Square Enix.. You did wrong after Final fantasy X. Did major wrong! </3
