I made some demo video about my B.C.Rich Mockingbird this time.
This guitar was made in Japan 1988 and it had no extra switches except 2 volumes (front and rear) and master tone.
So I added 4 mini switches and 1 rotary switch and customized its circuit to make various tone all by myself.
The rotary switch is for changing the neck pickup tone. You can choose humbucking, single coil and parallel.
The control of bridge pickup is done by 3 mini switches and they can make 5 different tones. Humbucking, single coil-1, single coil-2, parallel and phase out.
And the most interesting point of this guitar is that this has 2 perfectly separated circuits both 250 kΩ and 500 kΩ.
When 500 kΩ, there's 1 master volume, and when 250 kΩ, there are 1 master volume and 1 master tone.
There are so many guitars that have coil tap circuit but many of them have only single coil oriented 250 kΩ circuit or humbucker oriented 500 kΩ circuit.
But this one has both of them. That's very unique.
The amp in this video was Marshall JCM 2000 DSL401 and no effects used.

nice guitar. I know that bc rich now makes their ST mockingbird with these switches except for the circuits switch. Is this where you took the idea to modify it like this?
