"Clowns" in Annapolis

It seems in Maryland, Delegate Joe Vallario and State Senator Brian Frosh have a habit of burying good legislation in their respective committees as pointed out in 2007. That was the year they both worked to kill Maryland's compliance with the federal REAL ID ACT. Why? Because all the illegal aliens applying for driver's licenses in Maryland would be REQUIRED to prove "legal presence" in the United States. In other words, they'd have to prove they weren't illegal aliens--which is really, really hard to do if you don't have all the right fake ID's. This requirement, according to the testimony of the taxpayer-funded CASA of MD lobbyists and their buddies from the ACLU, would place an unreasonable "hardship" on all the hard working illegal aliens driving the streets of Maryland. Vallario and Frosh sided with this fantasy and ignored the testimony of a number of concerned organizations and legal citizens who wanted Maryland to comply with the Federal law. They also waited to begin the hearing until all the TV cameras and reporters had left for the day, making people wait up to 5 hours to testify. It's part of the "circus" in Annapolis. In 2007, Vallario and Frosh killed bills like this in committee and prevented votes by the entire General Assembly, giving cover to all the Democrats who are afraid to offend CASA. Similar bills are being introduced in 2008. The question is: will Martin O'Malley and his Democrats in Annapolis get another free pass and not have to vote on bills that offend CASA? Or are they finally going to start representing the interests of the legal residents of this state? Stay tuned.

@ShortyLos99 I see that you can read the dictionary. Thats great. But what does that have to do with illegals. Wake up. These guys are using illegals as cheap labor. They are cheating them with extremely low wages and undermining the wages of legal Americans. It's outright theft of legals work and wages. Must be nice to have a lower cost of living that you can pay for in another country, and retire at 35 when you return. I have American costs to pay. I can't retire to another country @ 35.

Shorty, when people come from a corrupt country, little regard/respect for human or animal life, with crime default around them everyday, illegally cross the border with no respect for the US, why should they care about fitting in with our morals and ethics, they are able to buffalo the democrats to get what they want, including crime & murder. As a resident of MonCty, MD & watched how liberal legislators helped illegal immigration, now they have blood on their hands due to heinous murders taking place in MoCo by illegals due to laxity. Thanks Cty Exec. Ike Leggett &Gov. O'Mally for making the environment unsafe for american citizens, yet a sanctuary haven for illegal crimianls. many taxpaying law abiding citizens got fed up with the laws being ignored. Illegals destroy private property all along the border, flood the emergency rooms and burden hospitals with bills the taxpayer has to pickup. come to Tucson or Phoenix, good luck being seen in an ER. Want to be here legally, need some work, room and board, I heard the US Military is hiring and its probably the fastest and easiest way to gain legal citizenship.
