Majestic mountains. Deep snow. Short lines. Fast lifts. Impeccably groomed trails. Sound like a dream come true? Its time to stop dreaming, shift your winter into high gear, and plan your incredible Maine skiing and riding vacation. Maines legendary mountains offer everything from 2,000-foot verticals, snowboard parks, state-of-the-art snowmaking and grooming, to trailside lodging and magnificent inns just a snowballs throw from some of the most challenging ski terrain in New England. When you add it all up, its easy to understand why skiers and snowboarders always give Maine ski resorts rave reviews.

  • They mentioned packed powder, and fluffy snow... seems like something's missing... oh yeah ICE. Or should I say "hard-packed granular".

  • BOO!! utah destroys maine and everywhere else

  • Stick to lobster. "Majestic mountains" belong to the west.

  • i live in vancouver. so i already have the best ski resorts in the world right next to me

  • skiing sucks

  • @young8191 You better talk to the people in the Cannon Mountain area, their FACTS may be different from yours. When I meet Bode Miller at Cannon for Bodefest last year he made it well know that Cannon was the mountain that he grew up on and advanced on.

  • maine didn't produce bode miller, simon dumont and seth westcott (excuse me if i spell their names wrong) they produced themselves !

  • I never herd saddleback said once. Saddleback is one of the best mountains in Maine!

  • @CRproductions14 yes he was born in new hampshire, and at a young age he got a scholarship to Carrabassett Valley Academy which is where sugarloaf is. get your facts straight
