A recent release of classified documents from British Foreign office regarding the assasination of Aung San has prompted an investigation by BBC. BBC reported that the assasination plot was far more complicated then previously thought. It was suggested that the involvement of high ranking British government officials were hidden by British Foreign office until 1997. BBC traced back some links between Sir Reginald Dorman-Smith (an ex governer of Burma) and U Saw - the convicted assassin.

  • This really shows Britain needs to help more now for how they have treated Burma before!!!

  • these fucking Britain betrayed karen.. who help them to fight Japanese

  • The Japanese spies and burmese student organizations were already in contact before escaping.wat wud the spies be doing there, wait for runners lol

  • How Ironic...Churchill despises Aung San's actns while Aung San admired Churchill's.

  • But I thought that bugger smuggled the brens not the subs that killed the general...

  • I know that guy Brig. Kyaw Zaw..

  • I know that Brig. Kyaw Zaw.

  • And that bastard Vivian, who smuggled out weapons, and later convicted and serving long term prison sentence escaped after KNDO captured Insein and broke the Insein Prison. Vivian, the Bastard, lived with KNDOs for two years and the fled to Thailand. British embassy in Bangkok KNEW that that bastard was serving prison sentence for his involvement in the assasination. But they arranged him to go back to England secretly via Middle Eastern country. Vivian lived in Surrey and died in 1976.

  • No doubt senior British officials were involved in this assasination. If U Saw wanted revenge and Aung San's death, only a few pistols or weapons are sufficient. The fact that the amount of weapeonary, hundreds and thousands of guns, showed that assasination is not just maung saw's revenge. They want to wipe out the entire cabinet and suprress possible uprsings against the British.

  • the then british administration could be trialed for crimes against humanity, if they were not the ones in power. they mercilessly crushed our country(burma)'s future,LITERALLY.

we should not hate british or any race. but we should know that WE CAN TRUST ONLY OUR OWN BLOOD WITH PATRIOTIC MIND for our motherland's development. Thanks for uploading btw. :)
