Note how he lays down his smoke to his Right side @ 0:40 , then, another smoke appears on the head of his guitar, @ 1:03 --- the video never shows him putting the cig. back onto his AXE!!  It is still one of the best SOLOS around!! Rock on Eddie!!

the best guess i have for that is he had a quick hand when his guitar was out of frame. that or they spliced the video at a weird spot. Clever eye, 4everndn.

This whole concert video was actually filmed during a THREE night concert set. Then edited for sale. I own this video, and have re-lived this concert over and over for several years. However, not many people remember,that , during the LIVE, MTV Video Music Award thing, back in '86, VH did a LIVE broadcast, of the song Best of Both Worlds while doing this concert!! OMG, I think I just showed my age...LMAO!!! Enjoy the videos, the music.... AND the Guitar Master. Rock on Van Halen

@4everndn thats becauase its nothing but overdubbed studio edtited live concert solos remixed in a studio some where...and tehs olos ita comp solo...its the result of like 17 shows...hes not like this live.....

he is noted for having sum of the fastest nd finest hands in the business but the way he puts hes cigarette down and it appears back on the head stock a few seconds l8er still baffles me. legendary solo. \m/
