Hot Tuna playing a delayed set due to chronic traffic and bad weather causing problems with the outdoor stages electricity supply. They eventually played after Led Zeppelin at 10.50pm, Sunday 28th June 1970 until just after midnight, when Country Joe & The Fish took over.

@annimon Yeah...they played Atom Heart Mother with an Orchestra.The Part writing ( for once ) was quite innovative....I spent the time up to me knees in pure sloppy ole MUD.

My highlight of the gig was sharing a joint with Grace Slick under the stage. I can't for the life of me remember who was playing. I think it was Led Zep...
The Byrds were amazing. The weather was wind and rain but they played for the festival goers and they were brilliant.

I was there too, saw the Byrds do a semi acoustic set due to rain , I think Skip Battin stood on a rubber mat while he played bass.
Hot Tuna's set was way better than Zep's.
Don't think the Airplanes set was that good but I did't care because was THERE!!!

The second guitarist was Paul Kantner.
Marty Balin with some vocals and cow-bell.
The two MCs were Jeff Dexter and Andy Dunkley.
