If you are willing to work manual labour you can easily find a job starting at

$27/hr. plus 1.5x OT pay, and you can work 20-30 hrs OT per week. No diploma needed.

You said you can't earn $15/ hr without a diploma, well where I live, 16 year olds at Wendy's make that.
