Most of the time its not a lifeguard doing the inspection, its a bean counter from parks and recreation doing the inspection.

    erpyoung,

No it is not as bad as Casitas. Castaic will honor all boat lock downs, but other lakes will not....yet I hope this helps us all out

Stop saying people coming from Havasu and Mead are bring their boats back with the drain plugs in. YOU CAN NOT ENTER CA. WITH YOUR DRAIN PLUG IN YOUR BOAT.

that is exaggerated. all that was clean water, someone put a hose to that boat before filming started. If water had sat in those compartments for 6 months like the owner claimed there would 've been mildew, dirt and a lot of other muck. More govt mandates. Do gooder intrusions into our freedoms.

And if the inspection is in progress its not the "DOUBT" which fails a vessel, they should have some sort of TEST to show the owner that the vessel is yet infected, till then they shouldn't be able to deny or fail NOBODY. This is BS, excuse my english. but its the truth !!!

Cause I sure do !! I've been going to lake pyramid forever and the word is obviously not gone out, the website is not even up too date; has nothing on there which states that this inspection is in progress. Yes I understand that the word was getting out since NOV 11' but who goes out to the lake then? Its usually BASS boats, would of been nice if a letter was sent out to every owner and so then we could of been prepared and not waste gas at all !

Its pathetic to have a lifeguard whos not a certified boat mechanic do the inspection is some shit. Video is great to see prior to going to the lake, not getting rejecting and seeing it after. Let me just tell you something, when 99% of the vessels are either parked outside lake pyramid or either headed home, don't you think theres something wrong ?

Dont get me wrong your videos are helpful but its so annoying when I plan a day out on the lake with the family, drive two hours towing a boat, spend $200 on gas and then have a 17yr old parks and rec employee tell me I failed. Then basically being called a liar, because he did not believe my droplets of water came from my sprinklers.
