One of the many local dog station IDs aired on KTZO TV 20 in the San Francisco market. KTZO later changed its call letters to KOFY and continued using local dogs as station mascots for some time. Later as a WB affiliate the station call letters were eventually changed to KBWB. After the WB network was dissolved the station reverted back to an independent and reverted its call letters back to KOFY, also management reinstated the local dog station IDs with a more modern look.
Oh, my gosh! I remember these promos! We were young parents of two little boys living in the Bay Area from 1983-1986, and I remember how our older son loved these dogs. He got a kick at the way they would "look" at the TV while the words "T-V TWEN-TYY!" were sung. I guess there were a few dogs who refused to cooperate! Thanks for the nice memories.

Thank you so much for posting this. Brought back some awesome memories and made me cry with laughter. Pretty sure anyone who was in the Bay Area in the 80's can sing along with the TV20 theme.
