  • There is no chance in hell of me switching to Pc for any reason. You do know that the economy is horrible right now and getting worse they cannot come out with new consoles right now. These casuals you are talking about there money keeps gaming going the hardcore gamer is a relic. It is all about money and it will always be about money and casuals=Money. The Hardend edition of that comes with elite is sold out you cannot even reserve it.Casuals=Money

  • @NakedPhatGuy I believe somewhere in the video we said casuals=money

and if not, I know for a fact I've said it many times in vids before. Casuals make the up the majority and I don't see that changing anytime soon. BUT, the point was that the way these consoles are handled is becoming more and more bs. What kind of games can we expect five years from now? Is PC going to be the only true hardcore gaming platform? Time will tell

  • hardly surprise nvidia are pushing PC gaming is it really? I love PC gaming, I built a new one just to play BF3. However; PC sales are dropping and services like cloud gaming are probably going to be pretty common about the same time the next consoles launch. Interesting times ahead.

  • @theBemusedOne they're growing man, not dropping. Do I have you on Steam?

  • @IcyRhythms I don't do much on steam PM me I'll give you my steam account - I've got a mild eve online addiction atm. PC sales are expected to grow by about 2%. But the real story is that windows has dropped below 90% OS market share and is expected to go below 50% in the next 5 - 10 years. So I do expect PC gaming to become even more popular, but I think cloud will drive that growth. Which is good new for ppl like me that drop 2 grand every few years on a box under a table :)

  • @theBemusedOne you have friend lock enabled on here. Just add IcyRhythms to your Steam.

  • @JBugGamer no

  • Casual/hardcore is not defined by the game you play but what passion you have towards games regardless of genre. And that is where alot of the points fail in this vid. It would be like saying you're not a hardcore sports fan because you watch golf and tennis vice football and basketball. No game is hardcore or casual. They're simply games that fall within a specific genre. For me you have class of gamers, Casuals, hardcore and the final category...gaming enthusiast.

  • @SONYandMICROSOFT Glock is video hopping lol

  • @JBugGamer I am defending nobody on this but this gen was BS. You defending Sony all the time and you contradicting yourself and Brodeo is not the fanboy but he is open mind about things. You have to blame MS and Sony that fuck up this gen. Do not forget about our video Glock :)

  • Holy damn look at Jbuggamer or glockninja or whatever the fuck he calls himself damage controlling over the comments. "leave mai precious sony alone yoo pc cocksucker im neutral i played dorito's crash course"

  • I have a feeling there won't be a 3rd xbox. If there is, we won't see it for a long while. I feel that Microsoft will focus more on the portable market and PC gaming with digital distribution. I think it's even possible that the PC could be Halo 4's main platform on Games for Windows live depending on how well Battlefield 3 does on PC through Origin. As for Sony, I don't see a PS4 happening anytime soon either. I think it's just going to be Nintendo by themselves next console gen.

  • @Persistantthug Very true. But I like to believe that the biggest limitations are one's own ability and skills. Yes, there is a technological limit but even limitations, the best and the brightest can make games that will stand the test of time itself. Gaming industry has gotten pretty big and fat and everybody is trying to get rich. If its a good game, yeah...you should get rich off of it because you sold a lot and more than the competitor, not because you charged $100 per game.

  • Well I agree , I am 12 and I try my friends how business work but they don't get it , I also try to tell them call of duty is easy to play and it's a causal game but they think it's hardcore and it's amazing and uber hard . Most kids that game don't understand about your talking about but there are a few that get it which includes me. Also most of the kids that understand have play since they were little. Ex- I been gaming since I was three
