Real Shark Joins Shark Attack Reenactment Set (Irony)

While filming close-up insert shots for Paul de Gelder shark attack reenactment on Discovery Channel's Day of the Shark 3... We get a visitor to the set.

In the video I am the actor playing Paul de Gelder in the middle. On one point in between takes the director goes back to shore to get another camera to film with so the camera man, safety diver and myself are just hanging out. At this point I see my friend on shore start to look really concerned and grab his camera and start to film something (the video above). At this point I am like "oh nooooo". I start to look in the direction he is filming and see dorsal fins. At this point I grab the fake shark we were filming with just in case the real one were to make it's way toward us I'd use the fake one as protection against the real one.

A day of splashing around in the water acting in distress attracting real sharks. Imagine that. I am sure Discovery Channel is insured heavily.
