  • Will her new teeth be fine? If she has a lot of infections that are not taken care of in time, her new teeth may have affected development. Otherwise, they should be fine. Regarding cavities - the new teeth should NOT have cavities. Cavities are the result of poor diet and lack of care of the teeth. The new can get cavities if the factors causing the cavities continue... Good luck. I would advise you to see a PEDIATRIC DENTIST.

  • First thing is to get an appointment with a pediatric dentist. They will discuss fixing the tooth with the cavity. After the tooth is fixed, proper home care will be essential ie brushing twice a day, flossing, avoiding juices and not putting your baby to bed with a bottle. Good luck.
